Adobe is in the process of rolling out their new Creativity Applications solution titled the Creative Cloud. The transition has inadvertently created a disruption to the availability of the CS 6 Trial software on the Adobe website.
A workaround has been identified that provides access to both CS6 Design Premium and Master Collection software. ProdesignTools is an Adobe affiliate site with links to download the trial versions of Adobe CS software. The workaround requires an Adobe account (which is free and can be created by following the link in the instructions). The process is a bit unorthodox, so it is important to closely follow the steps in the "Note: Very important Instructions" section located above the download links.
For Adobe Acrobat XI please visit this site. Again, an Adobe account is required.
The above workarounds apply to:
Faculty and Staff on-campus Machines (without IT support)
Faculty and Staff for work at home

As a part of Operational Excellence, UC Berkeley and Adobe are excited to announce a pilot agreement that provides Adobe Creative Suite software to all campus faculty, staff, and students at no cost to individuals or departments in 2013. Students will have the ability to download and use the Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium edition while faculty and staff will be able to install and use the full Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection. Both suites include Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
This agreement is part of the Operational Excellence-sponsored Productivity Suite (PS) project, which advances the OE goal of reducing complexity by alleviating the departmental administrative burden of researching, purchasing, updating, and distributing licenses for the most commonly used software and tools.

Things to know
Adobe software is the industry-standard for software tools when it comes to design, print, web, video, and photography. Being able to proficiently use these tools will give students a competitive advantage not only in the classroom, but also as a sought-after recruit post college, while giving faculty and staff a way to work more creatively, efficiently, effectively, and collaboratively.
Adobe Creative Suite software is a collection of creative tools that help you edit and composite photographs, develop websites, capture and edit video, and design print and online media assets. These tools provide you with the ability to showcase your coursework, projects, portfolios, and even your resume in a compelling and engaging manner.
UC Learning Center. The campus offers free software training to UC Berkeley employees through the UC Learning Center (accessible via the Blu portal — CalNet ID required).
