Berkeley Desktop

Berkeley Desktop provides a reliable, secure, and integrated computing environment that reduces the amount of time faculty and staff spend maintaining their UC Berkeley-owned computers. Berkeley Desktop will configure a desktop or laptop computer with its operating system and standard software. A Berkeley Desktop configured computer provides a standard environment combined with automated maintenance which means you:

  • Have more security to defend against cyber attacks;
  • Are able to get help faster; and,
