Pauline Kerschen came to UC Berkeley with the goal of getting a Ph.D. in English literature, and today she’s a software developer for Research, Teaching, and Learning (RTL). Learn about her unlikely journey, and what inspired her to change course. 

Sometimes when businesses talk about increasing accessibility, it can feel like jargon or more buzzy words to add to the laundry list of year-end goals. But the truth is, accessibility isn’t “just good business.” It’s personal.

This new application will give you more control over who can view your personal information by offering new privacy settings.

Like many nonprofits, the Traverse Project, a Houston, Texas-based organization that conducts transnational investigations to identify perpetrators of sex trafficking and child exploitation, has limited resources for digital security.

In December, an episode of The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper titled “AI and the Future of Humanity” aired. In the opening sequence, Anderson Cooper addressed the increasing presence of AI in fields such as the military and healthcare and pondered if AI could replace news anchors like him.
