iSCSI Storage Services

The iSCSI protocol enables computers to communicate directly with storage devices over an IP network. iSCSI storage is a good solution for customers who don't want to colocate their systems at the IST Data Center, don't need to share storage among multiple systems and/or have large or quickly growing capacity requirements.

Currently, Windows, Linux and Solaris software initiators are supported. Customers who intend to keep Restricted Data on iSCSI-attached storage will need to implement additional security measures such as IPSEC or encrypted file systems.
