The Data Center Operations (DCO) Group is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of the campus Data Center, providing customers with a stable and secure operating environment for their computing equipment. The DCO Group assists with installation of equipment into the Data Center, including all racking, cabling, and reqired seismic bracing. The DCO Group also coordinates any needed network activations and the setup of out-of-band access to installed equipment.
The Production Control, Release Management, and Quality Assurance Group within the Data Center Operations Group provides broad assistance for application operations, including production control (batch execution), release management, quality assurance, and system and performance testing for Application Services developers and the campus community.
