Network, Infrastructure Applications, and Security
The IA unit:
- Provides information security services, supports core enterprise infrastructure applications, including: directory services, identity management, and productivity applications like email and calendaring.
- Determines standards and best practices for infrastructure development within IST.
- Promotes compatible standards and best practices across campus IT infrastructure groups.
- Develops reusable components for use in infrastructure solutions.
The IA unit includes the following Level 3 groups:
- Applications Security
- Central Infrastructure & Campus Applications
- Collaboration Tools
- Network Services
- System & Network Security
- UniBears Project
