Supplemental assistance for special projects
Departments with a small technical support staff may need additional assistance through out the year. Examples of supplemental assistance for departments:

Support for monthly subscribers
Departments all over campus have unique needs. Our monthly subscribers may supplement their subscription by requesting hourly service for a wide variety of tasks not covered under our SLAs. They may include, but not limited to:
Hourly Service Rate
Customers will be quoted for an estimated number of hours. Actual work hours will vary. Customers will only be charged actual hours worked. Customers must approve all hours past the initial estimated hours before work can be completed. Work time will be rounded to the nearest whole hour. Work time greater than 15 minutes past the hour will charged 1 whole hour. All requests will be a minimum of 1 hour. A chartstring will be required before any work is performed. Our current hourly rate is $82/hour.

You may also submit the Hourly Project Form via fax 3-5385 or by email to docs@berkeley.edu and a DOCS staff member will contact you to discuss the details of the work involved.
