Production Control

The Production Control Unit provides the work required to process batch production within Application Services, including, but not limited to, business services applications such as CARS (Accounts Receivables), Payroll, Kronos, BFS (Berkeley Financial System), HRMS (Human Resources Management System), and all of the Student Information Systems (SIS) from admission to degree. These services include the day-to-day scheduling on multiple platforms, job set-up and submission, and monitoring to ensure production is completed accurately and according to schedule. This unit is also responsible for the delivery of various control reports for departments throughout the campus. Services also include our distributed scheduling system, Enterprise Control-M (ECM), administration support.
