The BFS/BAIRS/BIS application, developed for Financial and Business Services, allows users to complete a logon ID request on the Web. The appropriate approvers will be notified by email of the request. The approvers will, in turn, use the application to edit and/or approve the request and track its progress..

After all approvals are obtained, these requests will be emailed to the security officers in BFS andIST: CCS to create logon ID’s and grant access privileges. Included in this system is the development of a backend database to collect and store data. Key objectives of this system are: user-friendly form design, field validations for field types and chartfields, notification triggers based on business rules, ability to see status of each request, ability to see profile of existing user logon and logic to enforce certain security rules regarding approvals and updates.
