The CALmessages system draws employee's email address and BFS organization information from Payroll (PPS), the Community Profiles Dataset (CPD) and Berkeley Information System(BIS). It enables specified staff in the offices of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellors, Associate and Assistant Vice Chancellors, Vice-Provosts, Assistant Chancellors, Deans and the Academic Senate to send email notifications to employees with functionality provided to targeted faculty or staff or all employees by organizational groups.
